Recipes for people with Parkinson’s – Mango Smoothie (1-2 serves)
Mangoes are great for making delicious and nutritious smoothies. Use them as a base and add different ingredients for a quick and easy blended drink. Mangoes are a good source of vitamin C, folate and polyphenols which function as antioxidants. Combining Mango with coconut is a lovely flavour combination! I hope you enjoy making and drinking this Mango Smoothie.
SMOOTHIE INGREDIENTS
- 1 medium Mango
- 170 ml coconut milk
- 100 ml coconut water
- 5-10 ice cubes (optional)
METHOD
- Peel the mango and slice the flesh and add to the blender. Then add coconut milk, coconut water and ice if desired.
- Blend until smooth.
- Serve in a glass.
